Daniel Hawthore has a new future school.
On the same day the West Monroe (LA) longsnapper revealed a decommitment from in-state LSU, he announced Missouri as an SEC home.
Hawthorne had originally committed to LSU during early December.
“I really felt at home in Columbia and the coaching staff felt like family to me from the second I got on campus,” he said. “There is also an opportunity for me to come in and compete for playing time, and that’s what I’m looking for.”
The 2020 prospect also held interest from Baylor, Furman, Louisville and Memphis.
