NIU offers Chicago area QB

Kaden Cobb’s first scholarship came less than a month after a campus visit.

Following his trip to Northen Illinois just a few weeks ago, the Huskies extended an offer to the Fenwick (IL) quarterback.

“NIU is great,” he said. “The coaching staff is very welcoming and real. They know what they want and make it very clear. There is not false information they are giving out and I respected everything they had to say.”

Cobb went on to reflect on some of the highlights during the time spent in DeKalb.

“The facilities were great and I had a great time seeing the campus,” he said. “It was very spread out and has a lot of resources that I could use.”

And the 2022 prospect had an opportunity to see other schools as well so far this off-season.

These visits included Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana and Miami (OH).

Last Fall, Cobb was also at Illinois and Notre Dame.
