Kent State kicks off MAC visits for Chicago area LB

With a plethora of MAC interest so far this off-season, Amarion Evans took his first visit within the conference over the weekend.

The Nazareth Academy (IL) linebacker was on campus at Kent State.

“I enjoyed Kent State alot,” he said. “I’m definitely interested. The practice was phenomenal. Very high tempo and super competitive. I loved the coaches. They are welcoming and super intense and focused on making you an overall better ball player. They have what I’m looking for in a college.”

This trip was the start of MAC trips for the 2021 prospect.

Later this month, Evans is scheduled to see Western Michigan and Toledo while Ball State and Bowling Green will play host during April.

“I like all the schools equally,” he said. “Trying to visit all of the ones I can to get a better look and get to know the coaches more.”
