Chicago area QB returns to Western Michigan campus

IC Catholic Prep’s latest addition to the football program made a visit to the MAC.

Elmhurst (IL) resident Danny Cronin spent time at Western Michigan over the weekend.

The quarterback reflected on the Kalamazoo trip which included taking in the Broncos’ Spring session.

“It was awesome,” he said. “It was an uptempo practice with a scrimmage at the end so it was really fun to watch. I loved what I heard from the coaching staff during their presentation. It was a great visit.”

Cronin, who opted to transfer to his hometown Catholic school from Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), has more campus visits in mind so far this off-season.

“I’m visiting Harvard and Eastern Kentucky in the upcoming weeks.”

The 2020 prospect was previously at Western Michigan in late November following a trip to Illinois during September.

Cronin made Northwestern and Iowa visits over a year ago along with Notre Dame last April.
