Recruiting schedule coming together for Indianapolis OL

Tex Elliott’s recruiting picture is becoming more clear.

With scholarship offers from Air Force, Navy and Army over the last few weeks, the Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN) offensive lineman has plans to see the Falcons on March 15th and 16th.

“It is an honor,” he said of the academy offers. “And somewhat unique to get all three.”

However, the visit to Colorado Springs is not the only program Elliot is planning to see so far this off-season.

Look for the 2020 prospect to attend spring practices at Toledo, Indiana, Ball State and Texas A&M.

“I hopefully will receive offers from Toledo, Ball State, IU, Northern Illinois and Cincinnati because I have been talking to them for a long time and I have been to the schools for junior day,” he said. “I do not know where I stand with A&M but hopefully I can find that out when I get down to campus.”

Last Fall, Elliott took trips to Cincinnati, Louisville and Northwestern and was also at Georgia nearly a year ago.

He recently worked out for the Bearcats two weeks ago and has previously made a visit to NIU.

The junior received Ivy League invites from Yale, Princeton and Cornell along with Boston College, Colgate, Rice, FAU and James Madison.

Elliott plans to attend regional camps in Ohio this spring for Nike Football’s The Opening and the Under Armour All America Camp Series.
