Southern Cal offers Texas decommit Mookie Cooper

Mookie Cooper was back on the recruiting trail a day after announcing a decommitment from Texas.

The Trinity Catholic (Saint Louis, MO) product, who is considered among the elite hybrid wide receiver/running backs in the country, made a visit to Pac 12 country.

Cooper was at Southern Cal on Saturday where the Trojans extended a scholarship offer.

The 2020 prospect is coming off a recent visit to Illinois last weekend after announcing a verbal commitment to the Longhorns in mid-February.

He was also at in-state Missouri last month and Georgia during January.

Prior to the new year, Cooper had revealed his top 10 schools as the Tigers, the Bulldogs, the Illini, Texas, Nebraska, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma State, Michigan and Alabama.

The junior holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
