Cali WR calls Stanford ‘dream school’

Later this year, Diego Preciado has plans to make more campus trips.

The Classical Academy (Escondido, CA) wide receiver will be looking to spend time at San Diego and Davidson.

But before the senior finds himself taking more visits, he recently reflected on a voyage to Pac 12 country.

During early November, Preciado witnessed Stanford’s 48-17 conference win over Oregon State.

“The highlights for me were getting to wear the uniform and going into the locker room with the team before and after the game,” he said. “It was great to be able to see the team in action and to get to wear the uniform of my dream school.”

After being in Palo Alto this past off-season, the class of 2019 recruit landed a preferred walk-on offer from the Cardinal.

Preciado’s summer tour also included a combination of camps and visits at Yale, Columbia, Davidson, UC Davis and Hastings College.

He currently holds scholarship offers from Davidson, San Diego and Hastings College and most recently landed a Chicago offer nearly a week ago.
