Auburn commit talks decision

Demarjhe Lewis became Auburn’s second defensive linemen commit in the 2020 recruiting class following Sunday’s verbal.

The Griffin (Griffin, GA) defensive end joins Andy Boykin, who plays at end as well for Troup (LaGrange, GA), and committed to the Tigers last Fall.

Lewis recently received a scholarship offer from the SEC program during late July.

“I feel comfortable around the coaches there,” he said. “And the players.”

Earlier this year, the junior named Florida as his no. 1 school and on Sunday confirmedĀ  more college campus trips this upcoming Fall.

“I plan on visiting more schools,” he said.

Lewis was at rivals Florida and Florida State this past Spring after Syracuse extended an offer in December.

He also confirmed a visit to Georgia earlier this summer.
