Heading into his junior season with Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), Lamareon James currently holds scholarship offers from Maryland, Michigan, Morgan State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Virginia-Lynchburg.
The athlete is now planning upcoming Fall visits.
And these trips will likely be in Ann Arbor and Blacksburg having spent time seeing the Tar Heels this past June.
“Both schools have great academic standards,” he said of the Wolverines and Hokies. “And also a great coaching staff.”
Virginia Tech extended James his most recent offer in late June while Michigan added one of their own during the Spring.
The 2020 prospect enters the 2018 season with a new high school football program after transferring from Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA).
