UAB commit planning more visits

After announcing his top 10 schools this past June, Rashard Revels went on to reveal UAB as his future program earlier this summer.

And although the Blazers received a verbal commitment, the Colquitt County (Moultrie, GA) linebacker still plans to visit other programs.

“Nebraska , Michigan and FAU soon,” he said. “I haven’t shut down my recruitment at all.”

Revels shared his impressions of the three schools.

“Nebraska uses speed on defense that’s what I love,” he said. “Michigan breeds dogs and FAU caught my attention with the love they show.”

But Revels also confirmed including UAB as a part of the recruiting trips during the upcoming season and is looking towards the Fall campaign.

“I’ve been more focused than ever,” he said. “I have so many goals. If I told anybody, they’ll think I’m crazy lol. I expect our team to win a championship and I push my guys to the limit everyday and it’s about that time.”

The 2019 prospect most recently landed an Oklahoma State scholarship offer late last month and also holds ones from over 30 other schools.

This includes the Cornhuskers, Bowling Green, Cal, Chattanooga, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Colorado State, ECU, Florida A&M, FAU, Georgia State, Illinois, Indiana, Liberty, Marshall, Maryland, Missouri, NC State, Northwestern, Oregon State, Purdue, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas State, Tulsa, UCF, UCLA, UNLV, UTEP, Vanderbilt and West Virginia
