Fall visits await Ohio long snapper

Jude Pedrozo’s recruiting picture continues to become more clear.

Earlier this off-season, the Westerville South (Westerville, OH) long snapper/center received preferred walk-on offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and in-state Akron.

Pedrozo went on to land a full ride offer after Air Force extended one this past Monday.

“I’ve mostly talked with [outside linebackers] coach [Matt] Weikert and he is a very respectful coach,” he said. “As far as the team, I am very excited to visit the academy this Fall for a game and see what they are all about.”

Last month, the 2019 prospect took his most recent visit to Ann Arbor.

“It was amazing!” he said of the Wolverines. “The facilities are absolutely fantastic and trying on the uniforms was very memorable. The coaching staff there is great. I’m very excited to see the campus more and see a game in the Big House.”

Other campus trips this upcoming Fall besides Michigan is likely to include more Big Ten programs along with another from the SEC.

“The schools that have shown the most interest are the 5 schools that have offered me: Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Akron and Air Force,” he said. “Kentucky has shown some interest and I’m hoping that can increase once their season is over.”

Pedrozo has made previous trips to East Lansing, West Lafayette and Lexington as well as Notre Dame, West Virginia, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Indiana.
