Marist WR impressed with Missouri

Jadon Thompson added SEC interest recently following a scholarship offer from Missouri over the weekend.

The Marist (Chicago, IL) wide receiver was on campus in Columbia as well.

“I liked the coaching staff, they all were extremely nice,” he said. “And the football program, you can’t get bigger than the SEC. It’s a tough conference but they do a really good job of competing.”

There are currently zero commitments for the Tigers in the 2020 recruiting class with 13 offers going out to wide receiver prospects.

During this off-season, Thompson has received offers from schools in the Big Ten, ACC and Big 12.

This includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Boston College, Virginia Tech and Iowa State.

The incoming junior took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame last month and expects to see more campus trips to schools this upcoming Fall.

Thompson and Marist open the season at Brother Rice (Chicago, IL) on Aug. 24.
