Safety making return to Lone Star State

Nehki Meredith is ready for his next visit.

The Bishop Sullivan (Virginia Beach, VA) safety plans to be on-campus at TCU on Monday.

This past May, Meredith received a scholarship offer from the Horned Frogs.

“I heard the coaching staff can really coach some DBs and I really like coach Brian (Hernandez),” he said. “He’s good people.”

The 2020 prospect is coming off a previous trip to the state of Texas with a Texas A&M visit last Thursday.

“It was amazing and I loved it,” said Meredith, who also received an Aggies’ offer during May. “I like the coaching staff. I’ve always liked [head coach] Jimbo Fisher and [defensive coordinator] Mike Elko is a really cool guy. He keeps it real and is easy to relate to.”

Earlier this month, Louisville added an offer following ones from Nebraska, UNC, Penn State, Temple and Tennessee throughout the Spring.

Meredith made a pair of visits to Knoxville in June and April and also holds FAU, Maryland, Tennessee-Chattanooga and Virginia Tech offers.

He spent time in Blacksburg as well over a year ago.
