Missouri WR ‘enjoyed’ in-state visit

Maurice Massey received a scholarship offer from Missouri last month.

On Wednesday, the Kirkwood (St. Louis, MO) wide receiver made a trip to Columbia.

Massey reflected on his impressions of the SEC program and coaching staff following the visit.

“It was awesome!!” he said. “Really enjoyed the place and everything they have to offer. I really enjoyed getting to know the coaches, talking to them, watching what they have in stored, and sitting down with them building that connection.”

Later this week, the 2019 prospect will head north to Big Ten country.

“Illinois Friday.”

Massey makes a return to Champaign after spending time on-campus with the Illini during June.

The incoming senior, who was previously verbally committed to Iowa State, also landed offers from Missouri, Arizona State and UNC last month with Western Kentucky, Oregon, Eastern Michigan and Ball State offers this past May.

Massey also holds offers from Arizona, Boston College, Bowling Green, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Lindenwood, Miami (OH), NIU and Stephen F. Austin.
