At the start of the new year, Marcus Major attended Oklahoma’s junior day and went on to receive a scholarship offer.
It was the 2020 prospect’s eighth from an FBS program.
On Saturday, Major revealed a verbal commitment to the Sooners.
The Millwood (Oklahoma City, OK) running back had narrowed his list of schools to Texas, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Southern Cal and Oklahoma during early May.
He most recently took a trip to Arkansas after landing Alabama and Oregon offers last month.
Major also holds offers from Michigan, Missouri, Kansas State, Nebraska, Baylor, Minnesota, TCU, Arkansas State, Iowa State, North Texas, South Dakota State, Tulsa and Memphis.
