With Big Ten scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa last month, as well as Purdue, Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota dating back to the Fall, Jadon Thompson continues to receive more notice.
This weekend was no exception when the 2020 prospect made a trip to Notre Dame.
“I liked Notre Dame a lot yesterday!” he said. “Just the vibe from the coaches and getting to see all the activities around campus was amazing.”
Thompson is coming off a sophomore season at Marist (Chicago, IL) which is the Alma mater of current Fighting Irish tight end Nic Wiescher (14′).
During his time as a Redhawk, Weishar became the state of Illinois’ all-time leading receiver after hauling in 237 catches along with 3,050 yards (8th all-time).
Thompson says he has yet to speak with the former high school all-American as it relates to the Notre Dame program and currently is not scheduled for anymore visits or camps at this time.
Virginia Tech was the most recent school to offer the junior after extending one in mid-May.
He also holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Toledo and Iowa State.
