
Less than a week after making a visit to Georgia Tech, Dane Belton followed up his trip to Atlanta with one up to Big Ten country.
The Jesuit (Tampa, FL) defensive back was most recently on campus in Columbus.
“It was great,” he said. “I loved every part of Ohio State.”
Belton also shared his impressions of the Buckeyes’ coaching staff.
“They were genuine and seem like they really love the way I play.”
Throughout the Spring, the 2019 prospect has received Big Ten interest from other schools with Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota and Maryland all extending scholarship offers, as well as Rutgers during February.
Outside the conference, Belton made visits to Miami (FL) in March and Southern Cal during April.
The safety plans to get back on campus at Toledo on Thursday and Indiana on Friday along with others later this month.
“I’ll be taking my first official visit to Pitt on June 15 and I will be taking my second official to Iowa on June 22.”
He also holds offers from the Yellow Jackets, Vanderbilt, UMass, Pitt, UCF, Louisville, Syracuse, Colorado State, Missouri, South Dakota, Temple, Tulane, West Virginia, Bowling Green, Samford, Cincinnati, Marshall, Western Kentucky, Toledo and USF.
