Schools looking for an offensive weapon with traits both out of the backfield and on the perimeter are showing interest towards Chad Alexander.
Just over a year ago, the Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA) running back received an in-state scholarship offer from Troy while Georgia went on to extend an offer of its own this past May.
Alexander most recently landed an offer from UAB last month and had plans to be at Kentucky on Saturday and Tennessee today.
The 2019 prospect shared his expectations for the pair of SEC trips.
“It should be fun and a good experience,” he said earlier in the week. “I think they are two great football programs.”
An explosive athlete with ideal pound for pound toughness, Alexander is not your typical scat back.
Although explosive in space, the junior provides a presence between the tackles and accelerates consistently to sealed edges.
Dynamic on special teams in the return game as well, this is a well-rounded junior.
