Although they play on opposite sides of the ball, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield is making an impact on Madison (Houston, TX) defensive back Bobby Wolfe.

Wolfe, who received a scholarship offer from the Sooners on Friday, shared his thoughts of the quarterback as well as the Big 12 team.

“Baker Mayfield has made a great impression on me honestly,” he said. “Oklahoma has a phenomenal program.”

The 2019 prospect most recently landed an offer from Southern Miss and UMass during October along with another from Houston in September.

This past July, Wolfe announced a decommitment from Ole Miss and also holds offers from Baylor, LSU, Bowling Green, Louisiana-Lafayette, Prairie View A&M and Tulsa.

He took unofficial visits to Texas, Virginia and West Virginia, and was invited to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
