Michigan CB commit talks college choice

When it came to his decision to commit to Michigan, Sammy Faustin pointed to a variety of factors which went in the Wolverines’ favor.

And this included both the class room environment as well as football tradition for the Naples (Naples, FL) cornerback.

“The academics and great football,” said Faustin, who revealed his future school on Wednesday. “And I believe it’ll prepare me for the next 40-plus years of my life.”

The 2018 prospect had received a scholarship offer from Michigan this past February prior to an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor during March.

Faustin most recently made trips to ACC programs Virginia and Boston College last week. Both extended offers of their own earlier this year.

The defensive back also holds offers from Arizona, Kentucky, Iowa State, FIU, Maryland, NC State, UCF, Western Kentucky, Purdue, Appalachain State, USF, Georgia Southern, Cincinnati, Nebraska, Syracuse, Bowling Green, ECU and Ole Miss.
