Last weekend, Aaron Antoniou made a trip to Minnesota.
On Saturday, the Hinsdale, IL native and IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) linebacker revealed the Gophers as his future school.
Today, Antoniou shared what made the Big Ten program the best fit for him.
“The coaching staff,” he said. “They are on the rise. It was an easy decision. They have so much experience and are hungry for national championships.”
The 2018 prospect attended hometown Hinsdale Central during the first two years of his prep football career.
Antoniou went on to transfer to Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL) where he sat out last season prior to announcing plans to transfer to IMG in December.
This past Spring, he made trips to SEC programs Tennessee and South Carolina along with Illinois of the Big Ten during both February and last November.
The incoming senior was also on campus at MAC schools NIU, Toledo and Central Michigan during the Fall.
