Since receiving a scholarship offer from Pitt this past May, Spencer Lytle has gone on to generate more recruiting interest throughout the summer.
The Servite (Anahaim, CA) tight end/linebacker most recently landed an offer from UCLA last Friday which was followed by a visit to Westwood two days later.
“Coach Jimย Mora has a wealth of coaching experience,” he said of the Bruins’ head coach. “The staff is awesome and the facilities are unreal. One of the top academic programs in the country.”
Just a few days earlier, Lytle had made unofficial visits to Army, Pitt and Michigan.
“Army is a prestigious institution that stands on its own,” he said. “When you look at who runs top companies in the country, you find that many are from the academies. Pitt and Michigan have great football history along with great academics. Both have a great legacy of NFL players, which is my goal.”
And as far as the 2019 prospect’s plans for upcoming visits he said, “No immediate plans and just focused on the season.”
Lytle also holds offers from Army, Colorado, Colorado State, Fordham, Hawaii, Indiana, San Jose State, UCLA, UNLV, Utah State and Western Michigan.
