Incoming sophomore DB reflects on Alabama trip

Less than two weeks ago, Miles Brooks took his second SEC unofficial visit with a trip to Alabama.

Earlier this off-season, the Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL) cornerback had been on-campus at in-state Florida.

Brooks shared impressions of Tuscaloosa and the football program.

“It was good,” he said. “Atmosphere was wonderful there!”

The 2020 prospect went on to recall the experience spending time with members of the Crimson Tide’s coaching staff, including head coach Nick Saban.

“All the coaches and staff showed so much love,” he said. “I feel like we all really connected. I enjoyed talking with [DB] coach [Derrick] Ansley and getting to grow a relationship with him. I know he knows what he’s doing. Got to meet coach Saban.”

Brooks, who currently holds scholarship offers from both UCLA and Virginia Tech, also expressed interest towards a return trip to Alabama this upcoming Fall.

“Great visit and definitely planning to get up there again during the season!”
