Athlete ready for SEC visit

A month ago, Daquan Evans received his first scholarship offer from Mississippi State.

And although he has yet to make an unofficial visit, the Jones (Orlando, FL) athlete believes that one is in the plans.

“I love the program and their coaching staff,” said the 2019 prospect.

With Evans looking to schedule a trip to Starkville, he also has USF’s camp on his agenda later this summer.

“USF is a great program and I am just waiting on the offer.”

His recruiting tour so far included a camp on the campus of Florida a few weeks ago.

“Florida has great facilities and the competition was wonderful.”

On the football field, Evans displays traits in both coverage and supporting the run as a safety.

Also provides press coverage at the line of scrimmage while playing both nickel and cornerback.

“The off-season has been great,” he said. “Me and my teammates are putting in work in the weight room and developing ourselves.”
