During late March, Regino Alexis received the on-campus experience along with a chance to display his skill sets.
The Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach, FL) defensive end made an unofficial visit to FAU on March 23 and attended the USA Camp the following day.
“Watching their spring practice and observing my position technique,” he said of the Owls. “And how they do certain things fundamentally.”
Less than a month later, Alexis took a trip to USF.
“It was a great visit meeting the coaching staff and connecting with the players,” he said of the Bulls. “Asking questions and interacting with the players.”
The 2018 prospect currently holds scholarship offers from Virginia Union and Keiser with interest from Cincinnati, Pitt, Charlotte, Northern Missouri State, Marshall and Valdosta State.
“My recruiting process is going great,” Alexis said. “I just have to keep getting exposure and getting ready for the college level. It’s all about me being able to better myself and continue to strive for more offers. I plan on visiting FAU, Maryland and Virginia Union.”
