Butler Brown looking towards visits and camps

Versatility is a trait which Butler Brown hopes will help generate more college interest.

The Inlet Grove Community (West Palm Beach, FL) athlete believes he can find a fit in either setting the edge at the line of scrimmage or playing linebacker.

“Schools want to see me at a LB/DE,” Brown said. “To see me in coverage. But I’m a team player, so whatever the coach wants me to play, I’ll play to win games.”

The 16-year-old 2018 prospect plans to visit FAU, FIU and Marshall, and is working out which camps he looks to attend.

Interest has also come from Akron, Davidson, Kent State, Memphis, Miami (OH), Mount Union, North Alabama, Tennessee-Chattnooga, Toledo, Southeastern Louisiana, West Texas A&M, Charleston, UCF, UMass and New Mexico Highlands.

He landed offers from Stetson on Wednesday and Keiser earlier this month.

“Just trying to get more exposure to get more camps and earn more offers.”
