Based off a collection of scholarship offers over the last two weeks, along with what coaches at the next level are evaluating on tape, Taye Barber is developing into one of the most underrated prospects in the 2018 recruiting class.
Last week, the Cy Springs (Cypress, TX) athlete received offers from Clemson, Brown and Texas Tech.
Today, it was Ole Miss.
“Great coaching staff and a great offense,” he said of the Rebels. “I can’t wait to visit.”
Earlier this week, offers were extended from Tennessee on Monday and Stanford on Tuesday.
“I love their program, coaching staff and the way they run things. I can’t wait to get up there for a visit,” said Barber of the Volunteers. “At Stanford, they all have great personalities and I’ve created great relationships with them along the way! And they’re all about winning and academics, so I’m all for it!”
The senior to be, who spent last season at quarterback, receiver, running back, defensive back and linebacker, received scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Arizona State and Columbia during the first few weeks of May.
He also landed an offer from Indiana in April with offers from Utah, Rice, Kansas, Arizona and New Mexico this past March, as well as an unofficial visit to Texas A&M.
Blessed to say that I’ve received an offer from the University of Mississippi ! #HottyToddy #RebelNation 🔴🦈🔵 pic.twitter.com/R22V11fUzO
