Vanderbilt extends first SEC offer to defensive end Brandon Smith

Following a scholarship offer from Wake Forest on Monday, Brandon Smith landed his seventh a day later.

And it came from his first SEC program.

The Louisa County (Mineral, VA) defensive end received an offer from Vanderbilt.

Smith now holds a total of three offers from the ACC, including Virginia, Virginia Tech, the Demon Deacons and Duke, which he made an unofficial visit to during early March.

He also holds a pair from Penn State and Maryland of the Big Ten, and recently made unofficial visits to Happy Valley and College Park in mid-March.

The 2019 prospect also made a trip to Clemson last month along with another to Virginia this past February.
