Virginia Tech adds former Nebraska commit to 2017 recruiting class

Following an official visit in Blacksburg over the weekend, Robert Porcher has let his college future be known.

The Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL) defensive end announced a verbal commitment to Virginia Tech on Monday.

Porcher had originally committed to Nebraska in late June and went on to make an official visit to Lincoln this past September.

On October 22, the 2017 prospect took an official visit to Michigan.

Less than a month later, Porcher decommitted from the Cornhuskers on December 12 and made an official visit to Michigan State 10 days ago.

He currently holds scholarship offers from 35 schools and most recently landed offers from UCF (May 25), Michigan (May 24), USF (May 13), Rutgers (May 12) and Missouri (May 10).
