Former UCF commit extends commitment to Big Ten program

A day after moving on from his commitment with UCF, Viktor Beach revealed another decision.

The Bishop Verot (Fort Meyers, FL) offensive lineman announced a commitment to Purdue on Monday.

Prior to yesterday’s decommitment, Beach had generated interest from college programs in recent weeks.

This came in the form of scholarship offers from Florida (January 10), Purdue (January 12) and LSU (January 13).

Beach went on to make an official visit to West Lafayette over the weekend and had originally committed to UCF on June 18.

His first trip to Purdue came during an unofficial visit in early April, which also included unofficials to North Carolina State (April 8), North Carolina (April 9) and USF (April 16).
