SEC program extends scholarship offer to SIU quarterback commit

Throughout his recruiting process thus far, Brandon George had received scholarship offers from a variety of schools representing FBS conferences.

Programs such as Wake Forest from the ACC, Ohio of the MAC, and both Hawaii and New Mexico from the Mountain West.

The 2017 SIU commit has now landed an offer from an undisclosed SEC team.

According to sources, George expressed plans to maintain a verbal agreement with the Salukis, and declined his second Power 5 offer and visit to the SEC school.

The Jones (Jones, OK) quarterback originally announced a commitment to SIU in early January and also holds offers from Brown, Bucknell, Dartmouth, Harvard, North Texas, Wyoming and Yale.
