Virginia adds 2017 wide receiver from Good Counsel

A busy July littered with visits has led to a decision for Darnell Pratt Jr.

The Good Counsel (Ellicott City, MD) wide receiver announced his verbal commitment to Virginia on Tuesday.

Pratt had a handful of campus trips less than a month ago.

He took a visit to Clemson on July 17, which was followed by a camp at Georgia on July 18, and another camp at Auburn the next day.

The incoming senior received an offer from Ohio on April 10 and holds an offer from Albany as well.

From an evaluation perspective, Pratt is arguably among the most under recruited prospects for his position in the class of 2017.

With elite size and speed, and an ability to snatch the football at its highest point, what’s not to like?
