Chicago area kicker ready for more Big Ten visits following Georgia trip

After visiting Georgia this weekend, Jack Olsen has plans to make a return to Big Ten campuses.

Over the next two weeks, the Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) kicker will be at Indiana and Northwestern.

Olsen recently spent time at Iowa and Michigan State earlier this month.

“It’s been fun for my family and I to get to visit schools up close,” he said. “They each have great staffs, coaches and programs.”

As far as the SEC trip in Athens went, the 2020 prospect came away with a memorable experience.

“Great visit,” he said. “As many know it’s an impressive school and football program. I was thankful to get to experience it. I think playing for Georgia in front of 95k fans with a chance at playing for a national championship every year would be the opportunity of a lifetime. The environment at Georgia would be one of the best environments to play for. All the coaches did a great job making me feel comfortable.”

This past week, Olsen received a scholarship offer from Yale following ones from Illinois State and Miami (OH) during late January.

Last Fall, he was at Northwestern, TCU, Michigan State and Wisconsin.
