SEC schools recruiting Cali athlete

An athlete from the West Coast is catching interest from SEC country so far in February.

Earlier this month, Jaden Navarrette received LSU and Georgia scholarship offers.

Tennessee became the latest this past Friday.

And the Norco (CA) product had something to say about the Volunteers’ coaching staff.

“I like how the coaches right away wanted to get a good relationship going.”

However, the SEC is not the only school to reach out to Navarrette.

Heavy recruiting has come from both the PAC 12 and Big Ten which has included Southern Cal, UCLA, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona State, Arizona, Washington, Washington State, Utah and Oregon State along with Michigan, Ohio State and Nebraska.

The 2020 prospect also holds Hawaii and UNLV offers.
