A week ago, Geron Hargon was at Mississippi State.
And this visit kicked off an upcoming potential SEC campus tour.
“The program is on the rise, and will be one of the best in the country,” he said of the Bulldogs. “The new coaching staff is doing a terrific job and are going to shock a lot of people in the years to come.”
Up next for the Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA) linebacker are more trips within the conference.
“Alabama and I am trying to make it to Ole Miss,” he said. “And maybe LSU October 20th against Mississippi State.”
Hargon previously spent time at all three of those programs during the off-season including camps with the Crimson Tide and Rebels this past summer.
Last spring, the 2020 prospect was in Baton Rouge and Tuscaloosa as well as Starkville and Arkansas.
“LSU will always be home and something that is a dream of mine,” he said. “I have grown up a huge LSU fan and both my parents went there. Alabama has been at the top over the past decade and they have a great system. I really like the defense that they run and how they use their linebackers.”
