Visits approach for Bishop Sullivan DB

Nehki Meredith became the latest 2020 prospect to receive a scholarship offer from LSU after the Tigers extended one on Thursday.

The SEC program has yet to land a defensive back verbal commitment from the recruiting class and are now showing interest in the Bishop Sullivan (Virginia Beach, VA) safety.

“It’s DBU, so it speaks for itself,” he said. “But I like LSU alot.”

Enough that Meredith is looking to make the trip to Baton Rouge.

Although the junior confirmed he has no visits scheduled at this time, there are a few other schools currently on the agenda.

At the end of the month, Meredith will be on campus at No. 10 Penn State when the Nittany Lions host No. 4 Ohio State in Big Ten play on the 29th, followed by a visit to Blacksburg for in-state No. 14 Virginia Tech’s non-conference tilt with No. 8 Notre Dame.

“I like all those schools,” he said. “Pretty high on them.”

Meredith holds offers from the Hokies and PSU as well as Chattanooga, FAU, Louisville, Maryland, Nebraska, UNC, Temple, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

During the summer, he made trips to Knoxville, College Station and TCU.
