Rashard Revels has narrowed his list of schools.
The Colquitt County (Moultrie, GA) defensive back will now be showing interest towards programs from conferences such as the Big Ten, Big 12, Pac 12 and others.
This Top 10 includes Nebraska, Illinois, West Virginia, Oregon State, UAB, UCF, Southern Miss, FAU, Colorado State and Marshall.
“The coaching staffs keeping in touch and showing me what’s real,” he said. “Everybody wants to go to the biggest programs just to say they went. I want to really impact a program. My family has to eat. Anybody can ball in high school.”
Revels continued to gain more college interest over the last week with a scholarship offer from Neveda on Tuesday following a visit to FAU over the Memorial Day weekend.
Offers came from rivals Colorado State and Colorado during May along with Old Dominion, Illinois, UCF, Indiana, FAU, Georgia State, UNLV, West Georgia, Southern Miss, West Virginia and Tulsa.
In April, the 2019 prospect received offers from Central Michigan, Marshall, Northwestern, Bowling Green, Texas State, UCLA, Missouri, Oregon State, Purdue, Maryland, Cincinnati, NC State, UTEP, Cal, Vanderbilt and UAB, with visits to Alabama, UAB and Middle Tennessee State.
Earlier in the Spring, Revels was on-campus at Auburn.
“I prayed to God day in and day out about this,” he said. “This is only step one to a big time season I’ve been working towards.”
