More visits for Atlanta area prospect after local campus trip to Georgia Tech

Michael Webb is developing into one of Atlanta’s more underrated defensive linemen.

On Friday, the 2019 prospect experienced some ACC interest with an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech.

“It was everything I expected and more,” he said. “All of the coaches are friendly and make you feel welcome. They’re doing a lot of great things!”

Webb had been on campus at Chattanooga, South East Missouri and Jackson State a week ago.

“They all went well but the shocker out of the three was South East,” he said. “They have a great coaching staff and I love the way that they do things.”

Next stop for the Griffin (Griffin, GA) product will be at Georgia State this week which he previously spent time at during March and last October.

Webb is looking at more traveling later this off-season including a return trip to Georgia Tech and an SEC school as well.

“Have the last visit for the Spring on Thursday to Georgia State,” he said. “I plan to attend South Carolina, South East Missouri, Ga Tech and Jacksonville State this summer.”
