Zion Puckett ‘amazed’ by Ohio State visit

Although Zion Puckett holds scholarship offers from practically every SEC school, the Spalding (Griffin, GA) wide receiver has shown interest in the Big Ten as well.

This past February, Ohio State extended a scholarship offer on the eve of signing day.

Puckett found himself on campus for an unofficial visit last weekend.

“It went well and it amazed me how Ohio State can open up doors for you,” he said. “And they will take care of you. When you’re an Ohio State alum, you’re always welcomed back.”

Prior to the trip, the junior made a visit to Florida and most recently took another to Alabama earlier this week.

Puckett garnered quite a bit of college attention last month after an unofficial visit to South Carolina and receiving offers from NC State, Ole Miss, Morehouse State, UNC, Mississippi State and Nebraska.

Offers came from the Gators, Minnesota, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Notre Dame during February.

The Gamecocks, Alabama, Troy, Georgia State, Kansas State, Michigan, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Auburn, Duke, Michigan State, UCF, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Florida State, South Alabama and Tennessee have also extended offers.
