One of the West Coast’s best cornerbacks visits Oklahoma

Since receiving a scholarship offer from Oklahoma this past February, Jesuit (Carmichael, CA) product Isaiah Rutherford had hopes of making a campus trip to Norman.

Following other offers from Arizona and Missouri later that month, the 2019 cornerback went on to take a visit to see the Sooners over the weekend.

“It was really good,” he said. “I’m beyond impressed with everything. The coaches treated me really good.”

Rutherford had most recently visited rivals Oregon and Oregon State in March along with Cal and Alabama during January, and holds offers from all four schools.

Since the new year, the junior landed offers from Purdue, Nevada, Nebraska, Washington State, Tennessee, Southern Cal and Utah.

Notre Dame, Fresno State and Colorado have all extended offers of their own as well.
