Warren McClendon scheduled for Georgia visit

Warren McClendon found himself in SEC territory over the last few weeks with campus trips to Florida and South Carolina.

The Brunswick (Brunswick, GA) offensive lineman holds scholarship offers from both schools and shared his impressions of the recent unofficial visits.

“Well both teams have a really good program and the coaching staffs are amazing,” he said. “My highlights for both visits are probably just being around the coaches.”

The SEC tour continues for McClendon this upcoming weekend with a visit to Georgia.

“I’ll be visiting Georgia on Saturday,” he said.

The 2019 prospect took a trip to Athens in early February to see the Bulldogs, who extended an offer during November of 2016.

Last month, McClendon received offers from Virginia while Louisville, Minnesota, Texas A&M and UCF all extended ones of their own in February.

He also holds offers from Missouri, Oregon, Oregon State, Michigan, Maryland, Duke, Florida State, Mercer, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Texas State, UNC, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, LSU, Florida, Miami (FL), Clemson, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama, who was the first school to offer.
