Since receiving his first scholarship offer from Pac 12 program Southern Cal this past summer, Trent McDuffie continues to gain notice both within and outside the state of California.
On Saturday, the St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) athlete made an unofficial visit to Oklahoma, who extended an offer of their own in late-January.
“I thought the football program was great,” he said of the Sooners. “They are a very successful team and you can tell that the only thing they settle for is success. I had some great conversations with the coaches and I think my relationships with them grew stronger.”
It was the second visit for McDuffie in March after spending time at Cal earlier in the month.
The 2019 prospect landed a pair of offers from UCLA, Washington State and Oregon State during March with April offers coming from Arizona, Alabama, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Minnesota, South Carolina, Duke, Stanford and Pitt.
McDuffie also holds offers from Boston College, Cal, Colorado, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
He ran the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.47 seconds) at Nike Football The Opening San Francisco Regional.
