Xavier Truss ready for more visits

Since early January, Xavier Truss has developed into one of country’s most highly touted offensive line recruits.

With 20-plus scholarship offers since the new year, more and more elite programs are continuing to notice the Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) 2019 prospect.

Coming off recent trips to Alabama, Clemson and Auburn, Truss will be looking to continue his campus tour this upcoming Spring.

“They were great and I loved all of the coaches and staff,” he said. “I plan on visiting Penn State, Michigan and Ohio State in April but nothing is set yet.”

The junior’s first visits came this Fall after spending time in Happy Valley as well as Boston College.

Truss landed offers from Clemson, the Crimson Tide, Southern Cal, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia and UConn during February.

Throughout January, offers came pouring in from Oklahoma, Florida State, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, UNC, Missouri, Army, Mississipi State, Florida, Boston College, Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan, Rutgers, Penn State and Maryland.
