With a scholarship offer from Maimi (FL) earlier this week, Kalen DeLoach is now planning to be on campus sometime this off-season.
The Islands (Whitemarsh Islands, GA) linebacker/athlete had most recently made a trip to South Carolina for last weekend’s junior day.
The Hurricanes offered the following day.
“They made a big turn around since last year,” DeLoach said. “It shows on the field that they didn’t want to be the same team as last year, and the coaches put them in the position to be a good team and coach them up.”
On Monday, a trio of offers came his way after Cincinnati, Boston College and USF all extended offers of their own.
During January, DeLoach also received offers from Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, UNC, Clemson and LSU.
He also spent time at Clemson’s junior day nearly two weeks ago.
