All-American reflects on Alabama trip

Following his unofficial visit to Alabama on Monday, Brandon Smith shared impressions of the Crimson Tide football team and coaching staff.

The Louisa County (Mineral, VA) linebacker/defensive end also added a scholarship offer from the SEC West school.

“Great program!” he said. “I got a chance to see why they are one of the top programs in the country each year. Coaching staff is really engaged and will get the best out of you. I like that in coaches.”

Over the last two months, Smith took a plethora of visits including Georgia last weekend, Penn State earlier this month, as well as Ohio State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Miami (FL), Florida State, Florida and South Carolina during June.

The 2019 prospect has also made trips to Maryland, Duke, Clemson, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

“This was my last visit for the summer,” he said of the trip to Tuscaloosa. “I will schedule some games to check out in the next month or so.”
