CB narrows list of schools to Iowa and Notre Dame

After a pair of unofficial visits to Iowa City and South Bend earlier this month, DJ Johnson has narrowed his list of future schools to Iowa and Notre Dame.

The North Central (Indianapolis, IN) cornerback made an announcement on Monday.

Johnson received a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes this past February while the Fighting Irish extended an offer of their own during May.

Other in-state, Big Ten, ACC, AAC and MAC programs had been in the mix for the 2018 prospect since the Spring of 2016.

Just over a year ago, Johnson landed an offer from Bowling Green which was followed by unofficial visits to Indiana, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State last Fall.

He went on to receive an offer from Ball State in December, take another unofficial visit to Columbus this past January, and land offers during February from NIU, Toledo, Purdue, Cincinnati, Western Michigan, Minnesota and Indiana.

Offers also came from Miami (OH) and Illinois in March along with Duke and Syracuse in May.
