What began with an unofficial visit to Iowa and scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes in March, has since transpired into interest from more college programs for Maurice Massey.
“It was great,” he recalled. “I love visiting schools, especially Iowa. On the field, I fit right in as far as wide receivers go.”
Following this first offer just over two months ago, the Francis Howell North (Saint Charles, MO) wide receiver most recently landed offers from Iowa State and Boston College in early April along with Bowling Green on Monday.
Now Massey is planning to visit Illinois, Missouri and South Dakota, and attend a camp at Ohio State.
“Got invited from one of my dream schools, Ohio State,” he said. “They have produced some of my favorite players like Ezekiel Elliot and Braxton Miller.”
On May 21, the 2019 prospect is slated to attend the Adidas Rivals 3-Stripe Camp at O’Fallon High School in St. Louis.
“Expectations are to show out and get my name out there even more,” he said. “Receive more scholarships.”
The junior-to-be competed at the Under Armour All-American Camp Series Chicago at Glenbrook North High School last month and is coming off a sophomore campaign which included 63 receptions for 930 yards and 10 touchdowns.
