Over the past week, Braden Galloway had made unofficial visits to Clemson following a scholarship offer from NC State in early March.
On Saturday, the in-state tight end out of Seneca (Seneca, SC) announced a verbal commitment to the Tigers.
“I Can’t wait to be a part of it,” he said.
Galloway shared his impressions of head coach Dabo Swinney along with followers of Clemson.
“The way Coach Swinney is as a coach, but more than that as a person, and the way he interacts with his players is unbelievable,” he said. “I also love the fans! They are amazing. 60,000 plus at a spring game is dedication.”
The 2018 prospect recently landed a scholarship offer from the Tigers during last Wednesday’s unofficial visit.
He went on to make another trip the following day.
At 6-foot-6 inches and 220 pounds, Galloway possesses the speed of a wide receiver and the physicality of a tight end.
An ability to separate from coverage and high point the football naturally in space and disruptive scenarios.
Blocks consistently at the point of attack out on the perimeter and understands how to secure angles with a physical presence.
Reminds us of Notre Dame wide receiver/tight end Alize Jones.
