VIDEO: The Opening Regionals Chicago linebacker one-on-one drills

A mix of division one 2018 and 2019 prospects from the midwest and portions of the east and northeast were on display at The Opening Regionals.

The Chicago Bears’ practice facility, Halas Hall, hosted the event filled with multiple position groups holding scholarship offers from college programs.

JOHN HUBBARD-JOHNSON LB MESA RIDGE (COLORADO SPRINGS, CO)

The Colorado product entered The Opening Regionals coming off a performance at the Blue-Grey All-American Combine Las Vegas Regional.

Hubbard-Johnson makes quick decisions on the ball carrier with his head up and is a natural fit as a 4-3 outside linebacker.

The 2018 prospect has an athletic background as well considering he carriers the football on offense at running back.

SIR’ZION DANCE LB BEN DAVIS (INDIANAPOLIS, IN)

Heading into his senior season, the Ben Davis linebacker is likely to take on more responsibility on the defensive side of the football.

Dance displays the ability to trust what he sees and uses his feet to break down on tackles consistently.

A natural fit as either a 4-3 or 3-4 middle linebacker, the 2018 prospect takes a downhill approach towards the ball carrier.
