Lineman Jacob Isaia adding to list of scholarship offers

Days prior to the start of the new year, Jacob Isaia landed a scholarship offer from Michigan State.

The Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) offensive lineman had made an unofficial visit to meet the Spartans last April.

Today, Isaia took a return trip to East Lansing after receiving scholarship offers from Georgia Tech on Thursday and Ole Miss on Friday.

He had an unofficial visit with the Yellow Jackets in late February.

“GT would be near the top,” said the 2018 prospect. “Education is my #1 priority. I really liked the visit. Great academics. The offense fits my athleticism. Amazing location in the heart of Atlanta.”

Following today’s trip to MSU, Isaia has plans for visits to Cal next weekend and Minnesota and Colorado in two weeks.

He attended the Under Armour All-American Camp Series on February 19 at Mission Viejo High School and The Nike Opening Regional on March 12 at El Camino Community College.

Over the last few weeks, Isaia took unofficial visits to Virginia, Oregon State and Vanderbilt with offers from the Cavaliers, the Beavers, Minnesota, UNLV, San Diego State, UCLA, Kansas State, Utah, Hawaii and Washington State.

He also holds offers from BYU, Dartmouth and Neveda.
